Beyond Marketing Gives Back, Discusses Philanthropy

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Dec. 29, 2014 - PRLog -- The consulting and marketing services firm has a strong history of philanthropy. As a way of expressing its gratitude to the community, the Beyond Marketing team will be helping with the Meals on Wheels program organized by Columbus-based non-profit, the Life Care Alliance. This program provides hot, nutritious meals to senior citizens and chronically ill persons who are unable to provide meals for themselves. For the Beyond Marketing team, this is the perfect activity for the holiday season because it will bring cheer and peace of mind to recipients.

“The Meals on Wheels program is perfect for our holiday initiative,” said Nicole. “Every year we identify an organization to support during this time; we always look for something that encapsulates the spirit of the season. There are a lot of families in the local area who need extra help during this time and it’s different in the fact that you get to drive to people’s homes and deliver food personally. We like this approach because you get to see how passionate you are in this cause. We are growing as a company, and want to ensure that we stay engaged in the local area.”

Nicole went on to speak about Beyond Marketing’s philanthropic efforts and the importance of giving back in general. According to her, there are many reasons to volunteer or donate to charity – not the least of which, of course, is that it is a good thing to do that makes everyone affected a little bit happier. However, she explained that, especially for an organization, there are many other reasons as well.

“Giving back isn’t just about doing what is right,” she explained. “It is also a great way to get more connected with the community. Additionally, volunteering really helps groups to come closer together. For a talent-driven business like ours, this is an invaluable benefit.
