In gratitude, Goodwill is turning the donation experience into a thank you event that celebrates the generous donors who give to Goodwill. “We’re inviting donors to join the San Francisco Goodwill family for our annual Donate-a-thon party, and help us fill 60 trailer trucks with donated goods,” said Maureen Sedonean, President and CEO, Goodwill San Francisco, San Mateo and Marin counties. “Last year we placed more than 600 local people in jobs. With help from our loyal donors, we'll open more doorways to jobs for local people in need in 2015.” During Donate-a-thon, Goodwill’s 1500 Mission Street donation drop turns into a donation sensation with live music, CheerSF cheerleading routines, bell hop service, free popcorn, a San Francisco Boys Chorus performance and treats for kids.
