Overlooking picturesque Lake Mead and just minutes from scenic Hoover Dam, this full-service casino offers patrons more than 150 state-of-the- “Hoover Dam Lodge has become a hub for not only casino gaming in the southeast part of the Las Vegas Valley, but also for recreational activities such as swimming, fishing, boating and water skiing on Lake Mead,” DesChamps said. “Whether its enjoying a romantic dinner at our Steakhouse restaurant, relaxing by the pool or planning special events through our banquet department, a stay at the Hoover Dam Lodge will always be a cherished memory.” Dotty’s: A Company on the Move Dotty’ In other notable events throughout the year: Dotty’s and its employees gave $21,500 to local charities, bringing total chartitable contributions for 2014 to $155,650. Dotty’ Looking back at 2014, the year has also produced challenges. In December, Clark County Commissioners voted to change tavern gaming regulations meant to curb the growth of non-traditional taverns like Dotty’s. The new rules are meant to force Dotty's and other similar businesses to look and act more like traditional bars or risk losing more than half their slot machines. Although disappointed with the decision, Nevada Restaurant Services management believes the cost of implementing the new regulations will have no effect on business operations. In fact, the company expects to become stronger as a result of the new regulations. “Our employees and customers are our family. They’re our first priority,” said Mike Eide, chief operating officer and chief financial officer for Nevada Restaurant Services. “Although the County changes the rules on taverns again, our goal remains how we best serve our customers. We’re looking at all our options with regard to the newly changed tavern regulations and will announce our plans after the first of the year.” For more information about Dotty’s and directions to its locations, please call: 1-866-547-6310.
