Follow on Google News | Manhattan Wrongful Arrest Attorney Files Notice of Claim Against City of NYContents of Notice of Claim The incident that Anthony H. complains of took place at about 5PM in New York City and in the vicinity of 101st Street and Manhattan Avenue. Anthony had been walking with a friend after patronizing a local delicatessen when two individuals started running toward him. He was then grabbed, slammed into the ground, punched in the face and kicked in the head before his assailants identified themselves as plain-clothes NYPD officers. Next, the plain-clothes NYPD officers pulled him up from the ground, handcuffed him and engaged in an impermissible search by rummaging through his pockets. One of the officers told him that he had "passed something" to someone else, then said that he had "thrown something on the ground." Having found nothing on Anthony, the officers looked around as Anthony complained of the manner in which he had just been assailed. Anthony was told by the undecover NYPD officers to "shut-up" when he requested their shield numbers which they refused to provide. Anthony then went to Mount Sinai St. Luke's Emergency room to seek medical treatment following the attack he had just endured. Michael Redenburg, Esq. represents Anthony and regularly represents victims of police misconduct. 212-240-9465 www.mjrlaw-ny.com 11 Park Place, Suite 817 New York, NY 10007 Attorney Advertising End
