San Diego Writers, Ink Launches Writing Certificate Program

As San Diego Writers, Ink continues to expand its programming opportunities to develop writers of all skill levels, the group has launched a Certificate in Novel Writing program with Tammy Greenwood. Greenwood is the author of eight novels and has received numerous grants from the Sherwood Anderson Foundation, the Christopher Isherwood Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, and, most recently, the Maryland State Arts Council. Her book TWO RIVERS was named Best General Fiction Book at the San Diego Book Awards in 2009, and another title, GRACE, won the same award in 2012. Five of her novels have been BookSense76/IndieBound picks. Her eighth novel, BODIES OF WATER, was released this fall.

The certificate program launches in January 2015 and includes a basic and advanced certificate option.  Certificates are earned by taking the required classes, participating in room to write sessions and for the advanced certificate, meeting with Greenwood for an editorial review.
