COTTONWOOD, Ariz. - Dec. 24, 2014 - PRLog -- Animal lovers can help Karma both literally and figuratively by supporting Morning Starr Animal Sanctuary in Cottonwood. Karma, a rescue dog had an infected paw and was in need of care.  Unfortunately Karma’s owners, Vickie and Frank Seiser had fallen on tough times. Vickie had been laid off from her job one week prior to Karma’s injury and Frank is disabled.

Local Veterinarian, Dave Burnett, performed the surgery for free, but there were additional costs that were not covered. Morning Starr Animal Sanctuary, an animal sanctuary and spay and neuter clinic, also helped with services, but additional costs remain.

“Morning Starr and Dr. Burnett have been great and deserve a shout out,” said Linda McFarland, RN, a long-time Camp Verde resident and animal lover. “I know times are hard, but if anyone can help support Karma and the efforts of Morning Starr, it would be so appreciated.”
