LAAIA Continues 20 Year Tradition of Supporting Holtz Children's Hospital

MIAMI - Dec. 24, 2014 - PRLog -- Caring for children has been an integral part of the Latin American Association of Insurance Agencies.  In fact, for over 20 years LAAIA members have made annual holiday donations to the Child Life Department of Holtz Children’s Hospital (www.jacksonhealth.org/forkids.asp). This year’s donation was over $26,000 thanks to the generosity of their members and the support of their Platinum sponsors: Ascendant Commercial Insurance, Security Premium Finance & Wright National Flood.

“Children are our most precious resource,” said Lissette Perez, chair of the LAAIA Charity Committee, “and for over 20 years our members have been strong supporters of outstanding work done by the doctors, nurses and staff at Holtz Children’s Hospital.”  To date, LAAIA has donated over $150,000 to Holtz’s Child Life Department where the funds are used to purchase a wide variety of items to help children and teens cope with their medical treatments.
