MENLO PARK, Calif. - Dec. 23, 2014 - PRLog -- A Vision of Leadership --> Local Personal Development Center in Menlo Park teaches Kids, Teens & Adults to Develop Their Vision for Success in January of 2015

January 2015 is Vision Month as part of Kuk Sool Won™ of Menlo Park’s Powerful Words Character Development program! All students will be studying, developing and experiencing powerful life lessons focusing on understanding the value and benefit of being the kind of person who can clearly imagine his goals as if he’s already achieved them.  In addition to all of the physical skills that they'll be working on this month, students will be discussing and practicing the following concepts both in and out of class:

• Picture it: What will my goal look like once it’s achieved? Who will be there?

• Sense it: What will my goal feel/sound like once achieved?

• Say it, believe it, achieve it: How can I state my goal and show confidence?

• Focus and celebrate: How do I stay calm during tough spots & celebrate success?

“Goal-setting and visioning are important skills for everyone-- including children-- to learn and use. The earlier they learn, practice, and incorporate these skills into their lives, the more adept they will be when the stakes are higher as they get older. Research tells us that the more specific, timely, and appropriately challenging the goals are, the more beneficial they are for motivation and learning.” says Dr. Robyn Silverman, Kuk Sool Won™ of Menlo Park child & adolescent expert, and creator of the Powerful Words Character Development system used at the facility.
