Follow on Google News | The Naples Players Present "God of Carnage"By: The Naples Players After a playground scuffle, two sets of parents agree to meet and discuss how to resolve their sons’ behavior. What starts out as a concerted civilized conversation erupts into a primal war of words that is manically hilarious. Insults are thrown, alliances shift and soon the parents themselves are acting more like the children they are there to discuss. The God of Carnage cast includes Paul Graffy as Alan, Dede Brownlee as Annette, Mike Santos as Michael, and Jessica Walck as Veronica. This experienced cast brings with them a vast performance history with The Naples Players. Last season, Paul Graffy performed in Good People as Mike and was also seen in the well-received comedy, Moon Over Buffalo as George Hay. Mike Santos was last seen playing several different characters in The Mystery of Irma Vep and he is also the co-director and appears as a player in Stage 2 Improv productions at The Naples Players. Jessica Walck played Pippi in last season’s The Great American Trailer Park Musical but she is most recognized from her performance in the title role of Sylvia at TNP where she played a dog. Dede Brownlee has been a part of The Naples Players for many years and has played many lead roles, such as Jackie in Mauritius, Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, Sally Bowles in Cabaret and Charity in Sweet Charity. God of Carnage contains strong language and is not suitable for children. Performances are held Wednesdays – Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $35 for adults and $10 for students 21 and under, and can be purchased at the box office, by calling 239-263-7990, or online at naplesplayers.org.
