Follow on Google News | New Year’s Eve Laughs Coming to Lakewood, WAFour Comedians To Ring in The New Year at Cheers Dec 31st Show
By: Marc Yaffee, Tall, Dark & Hilarious Jones and Yaffee, will co-headline the shows that will also feature host, Joe Rogers and special guest, Tom Carvey. Jones, originally from Puyallup and now based in Seattle, is the past winner of Jack FM’s Funniest Person in Washington and has opened for Rob Schneider and Jeffrey Ross. Yaffee, has been featured on Showtime, heard on SiriusXM and toured five times overseas entertaining U.S. troops. “This is the second New Year’s eve in a row, I get to work with Susan. Our last New Year’s Eve show was hilarious and I expect an even better one this year with Joe and Tom joining us,” says Yaffee. “The best part is that locals get a great night of comedy without having to drive in to Tacoma or Seattle.” With her fearlessly funny comedy style and immense likability, it’s easy to see why Jones is being cast in the upcoming reality show, Living Large. Yaffee, one of the few touring Native comedians has a smart, relatable and rapid fire delivery, that landed him a lead role in the pilot, Almost American, about a Native American comedian moonlighting as a citizenship teacher for new immigrants. “This is going to be a super night of comedy,” says Jones. “I’ve worked with all of these comedians and I know our audiences will get their money’s worth.” Tickets are available in advance online at brownpapertickets.com for $25 or $20 each for military personnel with ID. Reservations can also be made in advance by calling 206 200 0217. Ticket at the door will also be $25 or $20 with military I.D. Cheers is located at 11521 Bridgeport Way SW, Lakewood. End
