Golden 1 Drops Rates, Raises Rewards On Credit Cards

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Dec. 19, 2014 - PRLog -- Known for providing value-oriented financial solutions, Golden 1 Credit Union is now a national leader in credit card pricing. Golden 1’s Platinum Rewards Visa® Credit Card is now 7.79 percent APR and cash-back rewards have been increased to 3 percent on gas, grocery, and restaurant purchases, and 1 percent on all other card purchases. Cash rewards are paid monthly. Charges for balance transfers from other higher-rate cards have also been eliminated.

In addition to best-in-class credit card pricing, the Credit Union also recently announced changes providing its members more free access to their money. Members of Golden 1 are now able to avoid fees resulting from overdrafts in their checking accounts with free automated transfers from their savings and credit lines.  And, when Golden 1 members under the age of 18 have large amounts of coins, they have free use of the coin counting machines which are located in many of the Credit Union’s branches. Incoming wire transfers are also free for all Golden 1 members.
