AM970's HealthNavigator Features Raritan Bay Medical Center's Dr. Tanya Weissman & Helen Marra

NEW YORK - Dec. 19, 2014 - PRLog -- HealthNavigator, the weekly health and wellness radio show on New York's AM970 The Answer, will air at 3PM this Saturday, December 20, 2014. Hosted by Abe Kasbo and sponsored by Raritan Bay Medical Center, this episode will feature Dr. Tanya Weissman and Helen Marra.

Dr. Tanya Weissman, a doctor of physical medicine and rehabilitation specializing in pain management and nerve and muscle disorders at Raritan Bay Medical Center will discuss chronic pain and treatments to help alleviate it . She will also explain the process for diagnosing and developing an effective treatment plan for patients with a variety of chronic pain issues. Dr. Weissman will then delve into when a patient suffering from pain should seek treatment and preventative measures that may be taken in certain cases.

Later in the show, Abe Kasbo will be joined by Helen Marra, the Coordinator for the Outpatient Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program at Raritan Bay Medical Center. Marra will explain the causes, diagnosis and treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).  She will tell listeners about available treatments that effectively manage this condition  and will highlight the need for early diagnosis and active monitoring of this condition.
