ST. LOUIS - Dec. 18, 2014 - PRLog -- KTRS Radio Host, McGraw Milhaven and local business owne, author, and political activist, John Parker will have an honest discussion about race on the "McGraw Milhaven Show" on Monday, December 22nd at 9:00am on the Big 550 KTRS.

Parker, President of Parker Public Relations recognizes that the subject of race and race relations sometimes leaves many people feeling extremely uncomfortable

"You need to be comfortable in discomfort," said Parker, who is a former resident of Ferguson, where his family was one of the first African Americans. "We need a respectful, but authentic conversation (about race)."

Parker stated, "We need to find out how a black person feel in a predominately white community? How does a white person feel in a predominately black community? These questions basic questions, but are among the many that need to be asked and answered in order to find some common ground."

Milhaven agreed to have Parker on the show only if he would come with "solutions". "I don't know that I have a ton of solutons, because there are issues on so many different levels" said Parker.  "I am truly honored to have the conversation with McGraw. He has a great following in the St. louis area, and maybe he and I can put our heads together on a few things to get a dialog started."

It can be heard on The Big 550 KTRS at 9:00am in Monday (December 22nd). Calls are also welcome.
