By: THE ROMANCE THE ROMANCE TV series bills itself as telling ‘the real story of dating and romance’. The TV series was filmed in San Diego from November 2013 through November 2014 following the lives and storylines of 12 single women and 12 single men on their dates with each other and their search for love. The show focuses on people in real situations with a wider age demographic than most TV series. “We are very excited” said Ken Gora, CEO of Branded Entertainment and Executive Producer/Creator of THE ROMANCE. “In our TV series the cast does not live in a mansion, no dates to Tahiti or Bora Bora, they are not all in their 20’s, we don’t ask for a proposal after 10 weeks…this show is about real life dating with real people and situations. And the world will be watching with our airing near Valentines Day “ In addition, the dating cast receives feedback about their dates and their search from a panel of judges and guest experts. Kim Seltzer, LCSW is a Therapist, Image Expert and Dating Coach based in Los Angeles and Elle France is a Rancho Santa Fe matchmaker and CMO of the new online dating site Singld Out. “Our judges and the feedback they give has allowed THE ROMANCE to be educational for the audience as well as entertaining” Several romances developed among the cast on the show and Dr. Gora revealed there are also two hidden storylines. “It wouldn’t be a good reality show if there was not one or two surprises, right ?” he explained. “ Let’s just say “not all is at it seems on the show” .And no other dating show has watched its cast over the course of a year to really see the personalities and what makes or breaks a relationship.” Besides the story of the single men and women on the show, THE ROMANCE showcases San Diego and it’s great scenery, restaurants, night life and many, many small businesses and products that are intertwined with the dating cast to impact the local economy. “We are a different type of TV show and we are a TV show that makes a difference. In the episodes we featured over six different charities and worked with Monarch Global Media and it’s cause marketing to impact businesses and charities.
