L.I.F.E.® to Host its Annual Toy Giveaway

JONESBORO, Ga. - Dec. 17, 2014 - PRLog -- Love Involves Family Everyday gears up to hosts its Annual Toy Giveaway for the Clayton County community on Saturday, December 20^th from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. The toy drive is being spearheaded by the organization known as S.A.S. (Single & Satisfied). Several members of this organization have partnered with L.I.F.E.  to bring hope and inspiration for families in need. The giveaway will be held at Family Life Missionary Baptist Church located at 8955 Fayetteville Road, Jonesboro, GA 30238.

I enjoy being a part of L.I.F.E.'s Toy Giveaway each year because it is a blessing to be able to help bring joy to families, especially during the Christmas Holiday Season,” stated S.A.S. Leader Monae Reed. “It is also mind-boggling to be able to serve along with the LIFE Team, because I know that the organization aims to positively impact the family in a holistic way.”

The L.I.F.E. staff has signed up 114 families since the beginning of November 2014 which will allow them to service 251 children with toys this Saturday. The toys are being provided through numerous donations from Toys for Tots, local businesses and other community partners. Families will also receive clothing, shoes and food through the sponsorship of the Atlanta Community Food Bank. While waiting, families will be able to enjoy breakfast pastries and drinks thanks to sponsors Angela and William Hill of Heavenly Bites Catering Services.

When asked what families could expect, Ms. Reed said the following, “Our families can expect to be treated with customer service that is second to none! Too often the very necessary spirit of hospitality gets lost and left out of charitable events due to mundane procedures, systematic policies, etc.”

She also went on to state, “At Family Life, we will continue to be guilty of going above and beyond the norm to provide an opportunity for families to receive toys, food, and clothes during this wonderful Christmas season, but more importantly we offer families the chance to accept Jesus into their hearts for a lifetime. By doing so, we provide an amazing opportunity for the families to truly soar and experience life like never before!”
