SuprTEK Wins $59M Enterprise Agile Development Contract

Dec. 16, 2014 - PRLog -- Superlative Technologies, Inc. (dba SuprTEK) is pleased to announce that on September 24, 2014 it was awarded a multi- year, $59M Enterprise Agile Development (ADEV) contract to develop, sustain, enhance, and support individual and distributed multi-user, work-centered, web-based applications in support of Air Mobility Command’s (AMC) worldwide airlift, air refueling, and aeromedical missions. AMC is a major command headquartered at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, whose mission is to deliver the “Right Effects to the Right Place at the Right Time.”

“Officially, this is the largest win since the inception of SuprTEK. We will be building new capabilities for the Air Mobility Command and will be creating a pure Agile Software Development factory, which is very exciting,” stated TK Gil, Chief Executive Officer of SuprTEK. “This contract adds another major win to broaden our exceptional technical capabilities.”

SuprTEK will deploy 6 to 12 agile software development teams to develop and enhance state-of-the-art mission planning applications. These state-of-the-art applications will support AMC’s mission to provide worldwide cargo and passenger delivery, conduct air refueling and aeromedical evacuation missions, as well as transport humanitarian supplies to hurricane, flood, and earthquake victims around the world. They will enable the optimization of planning processes by automatically identifying and visualizing multi-air mission conflicts, identifying courses of action (COAs), communicating updates to the field and front lines, and recognizing and reacting to potential problems or events. SuprTEK’s efforts will support over 130,000 active military, civilian, guardsmen, and reserve personnel.

Our dynamic, innovative Agile development teams are located in SuprTEK’s newest office environment in O’Fallon, Illinois. The 14,000 square foot, contemporary office has been designed to enable and encourage daily team collaboration and communication. Equipped with eight conference rooms, strategically located “Think Tanks,” mobile white boards, and HD monitors, SuprTEK has built an environment to foster innovative and collaborative thinking among our highly knowledgeable, skilled team members.

“We are thrilled to expand our presence at Scott Air Force Base to support the Air Mobility Command by providing them with mission-critical technology,” stated Ron Howard, Assistant Vice President of Solution Engineering & Delivery (SE&D). “This facility provides the environment to support the collaboration required for successful Agile development and to allow for expansion of the team as we continue to work to achieve AMC’s mission goals.”
