In music when people talk about Southern Rock, you will always hear classic names being mentioned from our past like the Allman Brothers, Creedeance Clearwater Revival, Lynyrd Skynard, Kings of Leon or even ZZ Top.

Since rap has taken over the mainstream south, it has been quite a while since a rock band

has come out of that area to make an impact of their own to justify any kind of mention.

Today 3 guys from Kentucky are on a mission to change that. John Lee, Jarad
Pearman and Kyle King are 3 southern boys who grew up knowing their passion for music was more than a coincidence but instead a means for the future. When
LEAFDALE came together everything became clear that things were about to change.

“These 3 guys are incredible, they harness a sound that is heavily influenced by the greats in the likes of Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, & Tool all mixed
together. Their ability to actually take that sound and transcend it to rework it into a 2015 world is amazing to me” said Affluent Records CEO Oscar Sanchez “My A&R Will Hayden brought me to their attention, I loved what I heard. I immediately “Rick Rubin” the situation, signed them to Affluent Records and produced the material they had recorded into what you will later hear on their self titled debut EP “LEAFDALE” coming out at the top of next year in January 2015 on AFFLUENT RECORDS.

The record itself has already been sent out by to selective programmers and has been gathering a very positive response in return by already being added into rotation at a local station in their market in less than 30 days.
