Jahna Sebastian Graces The December Cover Issue of Fashion I Con Magazine

NEW YORK - Dec. 15, 2014 - PRLog -- Fashion I Con Magazine is getting up close and personal — literally — with international pop star singer/songwriter and producer Jahna Sebastian! The brunette beauty is featured on the December cover issue of Fashion I Con Magazine and she discusses all things music and a dose of fashion. When asked when was the first time she fell in love with music she states, "I have always been connected to music in a very special way. My great grandmother taught me to sing Russian folk songs at the age of two and since then I as a little girl I was just picking up lyrics and melodies everywhere I heard music I knew most songs I heard on the radio and cartoon soundtracks by heart. As a baby I used to sleep right next to the sound system playing Michael Jackson and Mozart really loud."

Ms. Sebastian delved deep and went on to state her education background in music as well.  "At the age of 16 I entered Russian Academy of Music where I did the five year course in four. I sang almost every day in the church choir for some time. Music has always been a major part of my life and my key life events have been linked in a big way to my musical journey. I joined bands, started recording and as a teenager and have been producing and engineering for other artists as well as myself. When I moved to London and got a bit of money, spending it on flashy stuff didn’t even cross my mind, I just invested all of it into my studio. Love, freedom, spiritual growth and even immigration are all directly linked by music in my life."

When asked what is her definition of a Diva she states, "A Diva is a woman who knows her worth, has worked very hard to achieve the status, is proud, but not loud, generous, but not a show off, can look on a million dollars with a one dollar dress on, as it is not the price tag that makes one a true Queen, but how she carries herself. She is stylish, well-educated and sets the trends, as she is a leader with followers who aspire to be like her. Even her enemies secretly wish they were like her. She is mentally strong, has a powerful personality and even if she speaks quietly, everybody in the room will stop and listen. She commands attention but she knows that her main wealth is in the qualities of her personality. She is confident because she possesses those. A Diva has sharp intellect and is emotionally intelligent and that shines through her penetrating gaze. She never reduces herself to cat fights or allows to lose her dignity. Paraphrasing Margaret Thatcher: being a Diva is like being a lady, if you have to tell people you are, you are not."

Jahna Sebastian who was classically trained on piano and earned her degree in “Music Business” at the age of 20 at the prestigious Russian Academy of Music is a multifaceted power house of talent. She has an astonishing track record of hundreds of songs including recording entire album by Oxxxymiron “Vechniy Jid” which had been rated Best Rap Album of 2011 in Russia and nominated for Russian Urban Music Awards.

Earlier this summer she performed several shows with multi platinum UK band Kasabian, one of them was on MTV on Soundchain with Zane Lowe, on the main stage Pyramid at Glastonbury Festival, which has been broadcast on BBC and millions tuned in for, another being the historic show at Victoria Park in Leicester called "Summer Solstice" with 50,000 people attending.  The show was filmed and screened at cinemas and will be released on DVD soon. She also performed with Kasabian at the Alan Carr show.  The sultry songstress also had the pleasure of headlining the Baltic Summer Festival. She is currently working on her upcoming album and collaborating with other artist on their projects.
