Access from any device, anywhere

SharePoint 2013 will replace Gatwick Airport's existing intranet with a solution that boosts productivity by facilitating more effective communication, collaboration and automation. Crucially, via a responsive design, it will offer mobile and non-PC access for the airport's 2600-strong workforce, many of whom are not office-based or on-site full time. With a Bring Your Own Device policy in place it is essential that employees should be able to access the Intranet from smart phones and other tablet devices.

A solution that's set to soar

Pythagoras' implementation will also improve internal airport processes, particularly in helping to identify issues and improve passenger safety around the terminals. Regular news, messages and events information can be published online to all employees, negating the use of hard copy hand-outs, while utilising the Yammer social network platform will enhance collaboration across teams and add value to individuals.
