DAV RecruitMilitary Vet Job Fair Coming to Tampa on January 15

LOVELAND, Ohio - Dec. 13, 2014 - PRLog -- DAV and the military-to-civilian recruitment firm RecruitMilitary will produce an All Veterans Career Fair at Straz Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa on Thursday, January 15, 2015. DAV and RecruitMilitary are inviting veterans who already have civilian work experience, personnel who are transitioning from active duty to civilian life, members of the National Guard and reserves, military spouses, and other military family members. USAA will sponsor the event, which runs from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

RecruitMilitary expects more than 30 employers, franchisors, educational institutions, and government agencies to reserve exhibitor booths at the Expo. Those companies already signed up are USAA; DAV; Oracle; HCA Healthcare; Airstreams Renewables; Center for Technology Training; Cintas; Trinity Services Group; SCC Soft Computer; Quest Diagnostics; Roadmaster Drivers School; First Command Financial Planning; The City of Lakeland; Argosy University; The Art Institutes; and Hilton Worldwide.

In addition, USAA’s local wealth management team is presenting a seminar prior to the career fair at 10:00 a.m. The seminar is titled "Practical Advice for All Stages of Retirement Planning." All veterans are welcome to attend this session that is intended to provide information for veterans and spouses to use as they consider their future retirement.

DAV personnel will be on hand to answer veterans’ questions about benefits and to provide them with other valuable information.
