INDIANAPOLIS - Dec. 12, 2014 - PRLog -- Employees of Wheaton World Wide Moving | Bekins Van Lines delivered a truckload of donations to the Ronald McDonald House of Indiana Thursday for Santa’s Workshop.

Wheaton | Bekins collected more than 430 items from employees in drop boxes at its corporate office from early November through mid-December. Items included everything from pajamas, slippers and personal care items to toys, books and puzzles. From cash donations, Wheaton | Bekins also donated a selection of gift cards.

On December 18, the Ronald McDonald House of Indiana will open up Santa’s Workshop. Santa’s Workshop allows parents and siblings staying at Ronald McDonald House to shop for gifts at no charge during the holiday season. “Wheaton | Bekins is proud to partner with the Ronald McDonald House of Indiana to deliver a little cheer this holiday season to families experiencing such a difficult life event,” said A.J. Schneider, Wheaton | Bekins Executive Vice President.

Serving families since 1982, the Ronald McDonald House of Indiana provides a safe haven and home-away-from-home for parents and siblings of seriously ill or injured children. Since opening its doors, more than 35,000 families from every Indiana county as well as many other states and countries, have stayed at the House.
