What You Don't Know About Is Costing You A Fortune! Here's The Straight Scoop on Insurance

LONDON - Dec. 12, 2014 - PRLog -- When we think of Insurance Brokers we conjure up all sorts of images in our minds. Even the word ‘Broker’ can strike fear into our hearts! The vast array of products and services offered out there can be daunting. So when a company does something totally different, so totally radical and takes the fear factor away from Insurance, then that has to be worth reading about!

I came across Headington & Bishopsgate by accident while surfing the web. Their website gave little away apart from the fact that they deal with personal, commercial and corporate Insurance. (Blah Blah Blah I thought!) I had decided that Insurance search engines may not give me the best deal, so I gave these guys a call.

Having everything explained to me in an easy to understand context was the first thing I noticed. Being told that right through the life of my policy I would have one point of contact, which also sounded good to me. It was nice to be treated like a real person and not another sale.

Then came the bombshell! I was asked if I supported a charity. I was confused as to why an insurance broker would ask me this question. I responded with “Well yes….. I support several charities." The advisor explained for every Insurance policy taken up through Headington & Bishopsgate, the company would make a donation to a charity of my choice. This was done almost immediately. Surprising as I was expecting to at least have to pay for my first months premium.

So here we have an Insurance Broker putting trust into a client! This astounded me as financial services companies are not in the habit of giving money away, let alone paying out before I had paid my first month’s premium?  So I asked “Is this a long term idea?” “Yes” explained the advisor. “It is.” So at last a company where ‘Trust’ works both ways!

What seemed to be a minefield of companies on the web all promising the same thing this one, Headington and Bishopsgate stood out from the rest. Not a mainstream Insurance Company, but one that likes to give back to us all.
