PR Starlets Emily Taffel and Sara Caro of Mugsy PR to Speak at Florida Social Con Conference

MIAMI - Dec. 11, 2014 - PRLog -- PR Starlets Emily Taffel and Sara Caro have just been confirmed as Florida Social Con speakers. These two bring the flair anywhere they go, their energy is contagious.

Emily and Sara will be presenting Social Media Smackdown, a social media themed obstacle course that is educational and exciting at the same time.

Emily Taffel, Founder and CEO of Mugsy PR, is always striving to get the word out quickly and to the widest audience possible, whether it is gossip, publicity for a new product or event, or a major news story, she is the woman-in-the-know. With 15 years of boutique PR and corporate agency experience, Emily launched Mugsy PR in 2013 ready to bring her unique flair and creativity to the industry. Emily has represented clients in the yachting, luxury lifestyle, travel and hospitality, retail, design, F&B and entertainment industries. She has successfully placed clients’ stories in local, national and international newspapers and magazines and booked clients on radio and television shows locally and nationally. Outside of her work with Mugsy PR, Emily is heavily involved in the arts in South Florida as both a performer and publicist and can often be found organizing shows and events to support several local non-profits.

Sarah Caro is the Vice President at Mugsy PR. With nearly 10 years of experience in the communications and marketing realm in both a PR firm and corporate background, Sarah brings a unique perspective to Mugsy PR having handled and managed various aspects of client needs including public and media relations, social media campaigns, article writing and collaterals from conception to printing. Like the founder of Mugsy PR, Sarah has also represented clients in the yachting, luxury lifestyle and hospitality industries as well as non-profit, legal and health and wellness sections – managing both local and national marketing initiatives for a network of over 50 physicians. A native Floridian, Sarah has been involved in the South Florida community for years – most recently in her city of residence, Boca Raton. She is an active member of Junior League of Boca Raton volunteering both her time and talents to the organization and previously helped organize fundraisers, raising record-amounts of money for local breast cancer awareness organizations.
