ICU is also licensed by the Arizona Department of Public Safety to conduct private investigations within the State of Arizona.  The investigations team at ICU is comprised of retired state and federal law enforcement officials with many years of investigative experience. ICU is also licensed by the Arizona Department of Public Safety as a security guard agency.  The Protective Services division at ICU provides both armed & unarmed, uniformed & plainclothes, security guard services. Until recently, ICU has only provided private security services to a handful of corporate and local celebrity clients but now provides security services to a broader market to include the second largest municipality in the State of Arizona.

Because technology has always been ICU's expertise, management has decided to incorporate virtual security services and remote video monitoring to its services.  Virtual security, or virtual guarding, can be applied to most security applications where a traditional security guard presence is needed,  In most cases, using virtual security in conjunction with a physical guard presence, drastically lowers the clients security costs on a weekly, monthly and annual basis.  ICU's corporate office in Scottsdale Arizona is now home to the virtual monitoring station or SARC, Surveillance Acquisition & Response Center. SARC operators are trained to identify and respond to suspicious activity and alert local law enforcement before a potential threat or crime has taken place.
