Foti Chiropractic Fulfills Dream of Second Make-A-Wish Recipient in 2014

WAUWATOSA, Wis. - Dec. 11, 2014 - PRLog -- A 3-year-old Mequon, Wis., girl coping with neuroblastoma lived out her dream of swimming with dolphins in the Bahamas, thanks to the generosity of Foti Chiropractic, its patients and supporters.

Mabel and her family visited Atlantis Paradise Island and frolicked with bottlenose dolphins face to face in its Dolphin Cay marine habitat. The young girl’s “wish” was made reality by Foti Chiropractic and Make-A-Wish^® Wisconsin, providing Mabel and her family a healthy dose of hope, strength and joy.

The trip was the second funded this year by Foti Chiropractic’s “Make Another Wish” campaign, which has raised $10,600 in 2014. In the first trip, a 5-year-old Germantown girl suffering from cystic fibrosis realized her “wish” of visiting Disney World with her family.

“We are proud to have reached another fund-raising goal, but even happier that Mabel was able to fulfill her dream of making new friends in the dolphin world,” said Dr. David J. Foti. “We humbly thank the many, many people whose generosity made this Make-A-Wish Wisconsin (http://www.wisconsin.wish.org/) experience possible.”

Foti Chiropractic raises the money for Make-A-Wish through various means, including an introductory consultation package for new patients that donates its entire $40 fee to the charity. On a Patient Appreciation Day in June, the clinic raised $2,700 for Make-A-Wish by offering $10 adjustments.

Make-A-Wish^® Wisconsin grants the “wishes” of children with life-threatening medical conditions. The program granted 340 wishes in 2013.
