Thelma Wright Shares What's Next After "With Eyes From Both Sides" Survival Memoir

LOS ANGELES - Dec. 11, 2014 - PRLog -- We all have a story to tell, some may be more difficult to share than others or even much harder to believe. But the story of Thelma Wright told in her very own memoir "With Eyes From Both Sides" is powerful, unfathomable and even mind-blowing at times.

The one thing that is most remarkable is, she has taken all of it and turned it into a testimony!

Thelma attended Temple University for Real Estate Management. In the late 1980’s, she relocated to Los Angeles, CA and launched multiple business ventures including real estate management, as well as Jackiem Enterprises, Inc., a clothing design company specializing in custom made jogging suits and touring paraphernalia for athletes and entertainers. After serving as the company’s founding president for a number of years, Thelma moved back to Philadelphia to be closer to family and friends.

Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to successfully producing comedy shows and coordinating events and gatherings for high profile individuals on the east coast. In addition, Thelma's vast knowledge of real estate, banking and the mortgage industry, helped her to expand her real estate portfolio in Philadelphia and South Jersey, as well as her most recent work for a non-profit organization as a property manager in Philadelphia.

These days Thelma is focused on giving back to the community through motivational speaking and teaching. She is currently working on her launch of The Thelma Wright Foundation, Inc. The mission is "Empowering women and at risk young teen girls." She feels there is a way to take her experiences and help someone else to grow. This is her way of giving back and she’s looking forward to it.

Thelma enjoys spending quality time with her family and close friends.

Thelma Wright, Author of the riveting tale "With Eyes From Both Sides" examines her life, as a youngster growing up in South Philly with loving parents and a wholesome Catholic upbringing; blind to the changing nature of her neighborhood in the sixties, and then as a young woman who falls into what she calls “crazy love” with one of the City’s purported kingpins of Philadelphia’s flourishing drug trade in the seventies and early eighties. When her husband, Jackie Wright is murdered, Thelma becomes a major player in the game, running major drug operations from Los Angeles to Philadelphia.
