Meet Or Exceed Demanding Specifications

Both of these DURABOOK models meet or exceed the most difficult environmental specifications. Their MIL-STD 810G rating assures shock, drop, and vibration protection, as well as the ability to withstand a wide-temperature range. Passage of the strict MIL-STD 461F allows them to be confidently used in aircraft or space-system applications. An IP65 rating ensures they are sealed tight from damaging water and dust intrusion. The R8300 notebook also meets the ANSI/ISA 12.12.01 standard (formerly known as UL1604 – Class 1 Division 2).

R11 Rugged Tablet

The GammaTech DURABOOK R11 is the lightest (2.73 pounds including battery) rugged tablet PC in its class. It comes with a powerful 4^th generation Intel® Haswell Core™ processor for superb visual and graphic performance. It has an 11.6” HD (1366x768) LCD anti-reflective display with a capacitive multi-touch panel, and a water-tolerant design, meaning it can be used even in wet environments and/or while the user is wearing latex gloves.

The R11 includes built-in G-sensor, gyroscope sensors, and a light-ambient sensor; M2-SATA SSD 64GB/128GB/256GB storage; a MicroSD card slot that supports SDHC and SDXC; and a front-side, full HD camera as well as an integrated rear-facing 5MP camera. Security features include computrace support BIOS, administrator password, TPM 1.2, Kensington lock, and boot password protection.

Wireless communications are provided by Intel Centrino Wireless AC 7260 NGW 802.11 a/b/g/n/AC and Bluetooth 4.0 Class 1. The DURABOOK R11 tablet offers a choice of Microsoft Windows® 7 Professional or Windows 8.1 software, and a host of exclusive features and options.

R8300 Fully Rugged Notebook

Designed specifically for outdoor usage, the GammaTech DURABOOK R8300 fully rugged notebook offers unsurpassed performance, even in the most hostile environments.

It comes with an Intel 3rd Generation i‐Core LV /ULV CPU i‐Core i7-3667U mobile processor, providing optimum power consumption, weight, and performance. The unit also includes a versatile mobile Intel QM77 Express Chipset, and Windows 7 operating system.

The unit’s large 13.3” TFT touch‐screen LCD display features direct‐sunlight readability, an added plus for workers toiling in bright, mid‐day-through-late‐afternoon sun. Its quick‐release HDD‐storage capability allows users to inter‐swap either 500GB or 750GB HDDs simply by turning a couple of knobs. Additional storage is provided through a 5.25” Super Multi‐Slot-type optical disc drive. Two DDR3 SODIMM slots provide 4GB, 8GB, or 16GB of memory each.

Other features include security protection such as Absolute Computrace, TPM 1.2, and a Kesington lock; and various connectivity support such as Wireless LAN and Bluetooth 4.0, SIM card slot, a built- in WWAN antenna, a GPS module with built‐in GPS antenna, Wi-Fi, and more.
