Fifth Annual Elvis Lives Coast To Coast Theatrical Tour Begins New Years Eve In New York

Dec. 11, 2014 - PRLog -- Las Vegas, Nev. – December 11, 2014 – On Stage Touring, LLC, in association with Elvis Presley’s Graceland®, announced today that it will kick off the 2014-2015 touring season of the acclaimed theatrical attraction ELVIS LIVES^® “THE ULTIMATE ELVIS TRIBUTE ARTIST EVENT” on New Years Eve with seven performances over five days at the Patchogue Theater for the Performing Arts on Long Island, NY. Jay Dupuis, the newly crowned 2014 winner of Elvis Presley Enterprises’ (EPE) Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest will join the touring cast of ELVIS LIVES during its winter/ spring 2015 engagements. As of today, 37 performances in 28 different markets are booked for the tour, with several more markets to be added soon.

To date, the tour has been to over 120 markets throughout North America performing for over 200,000 people during the past four tour cycles. The tour will continue into April and be presented in many new cities across the United States while also returning to several fan favorite markets for the second, third and fourth time.

ELVIS LIVES, which continues to capture the imagination and interests of fans of all types including Broadway, concert and Elvis aficionados, is an unforgettable multi-media and live musical journey across Elvis’ life featuring finalists from EPE’s annual worldwide Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest (http://www.elvis.com/events/ultimate_eta_contest.aspx), each representing Elvis during different stages in his career. The high energy show features, Bill Cherry, Dean Z and Jay Dupuis, Ultimate winners of 2009, 2013 and 2014 respectively, as the principle cast for the winter/spring production of Elvis Lives. This year marks the first time in the touring production’s five-year history that all three Elvis tribute artists are winners of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artists Contest. They will be joined by a live band, back-up singers and dancers, along with an Ann-Margret tribute artist. Iconic media and imagery, including content made available from the Graceland archives is integrated into the stage production, as well as the popular exhibit of life-size images of Elvis’ stage-wear will be on display in the lobby of each theater hosting a performance.
