This weekend Students of the Spanish language in Valencia were able to take part in many different activities offered by a Spanish School

VALENCIA, Spain - Dec. 11, 2014 - PRLog -- Valencia. As every week a Spanish school offers various possibilities about how to spend the weekend and experience new aspects of the valencian culture. Some students spent their morning relaxing at Valencia’s beach Malvarrosa. This is one of the favorite parts of the city for tourist as well as for natives. Its qualities, white sand and clear water, are obvious. And if you would like to be active you can also rent a beach volleyball field; ball, net and field definitions are included. They are always used enthusiastically! Afterwards you might want to just enjoy your time and have some tapas, snacks and drinks.

At the same time a foam party took place organized by the club Las Animás del Puerto. This music bar is located on the roof of a building near the beach therefore you have a great view over Valencia’s port. Students from all over the world met here looking forward to take part in the big foam fight. The foam machine was positioned in the direction of the dance floor, where people where already dancing to the music. Then there was more and more foam mounting up everywhere until most of the people were completely covered. But the fun just began, many funny pictures with hats and beards out of foam were taken and at the end everyone had fun during this remarkable party and was excited about this new extraordinary experience.

In the evening the students were able to attend a paella competition in Borbotó. The little village is just 15 minutes away from Valencia and showed the pupils a traditional Spanish festivity. Whole families gathered in the streets where they already put seats and tables. Each group prepared their own cooking space. After spreading some sand on the floor in order to prevent the burning of the ground, wood was piled up and as soon as the paella pan was put into place in a trivet over the fire, the cook added the first ingredients. Now the students could watch the whole process of making a paella, all condiments and their right order. While the paella was cooking, everyone had time to talk and the students were able to practice their Spanish with the natives, before eating the traditional Spanish food. In the end, at least the students all agreed on one thing: We won the competition!

On the next day there was a soccer game in the Mestalla stadium. This stadium is located in the middle of the city and every game attracts thousands of thrilled fans. On this day the League game between Valencia and Espanyol took place and the atmosphere was impressing and you could not help but sing and clap along. The superior team of Valencia scored three goals and defeated Espanyol with just one goal for the other side, achieved by a penalty kick.

That is how a weekend full of activities ended. The program is changing every week to guarantee diversity and fun for everybody. Every student of the language school Costa de Valencia, escuela de español, can participate in the activities and experience and discover the different sides of Valencia.
