Investing goes Fashionably Techie at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC

NEW YORK - Dec. 11, 2014 - PRLog -- The 5th Fashion Tech Investment Conference will take place at the Fashion Institute of Technology in 27 W 27th Street New York, NY 10001  from 12pm to 6pm. It will be attended by entrepreneurs, companies, investors, media and academia who are involved in the fashion industry.

Three panel discussions and company pitches to investors are the main agenda for the day.  Pitching follows every after panel presentation.  Companies will be able to pitch to the fashion industry investors. On the other hand, investors  listen to the pitches of companies from the wearables, fashion retail, apparel, mobile tech and apps, luxury accessories, digital media and other technologies in the fashion industry. These companies are seeking A, B, C rounds of capital. Individual that will participate will learn the ins and outs of the fashion industry, including investing strategies.

Companies who wish to participate in the conference have to apply prior to the date. Selection of companies will be on a rolling admission basis. If selected, the company will have to pay a certain amount as participation fee, and join a mandatory coaching day, to be scheduled before the conference.  The company has to polish its pitch, together with industry experts.
