Pouring Man Productions Donates $1,000 to Colorado Ocean Coalition for Colorado Gives Day

BOULDER, Colo. - Dec. 10, 2014 - PRLog -- Pouring Man Productions, LLC donated $1,000 to the Colorado Ocean Coalition (COCO) on December 9, 2014, at the Zeal Restaurant, www.zealfood.com,1710 Pearl Street, Boulder Colorado. As the check was awarded on ‘Colorado Gives Day’ (a national day of giving to pre-selected non profits), the donation amount will be matched resulting in $2,000 being awarded to COCO. The awards event presentation brought together the region’s ocean lovers and ocean ambassadors. There was a silent auction featuring a spectacular 7 day trip to Fiji Matava’s Premiere Eco Resort, a dive certification course and a beautiful Suar wood crafted Buddhist statue. Zeal also generously donated 10% of the proceeds from their sales to the Colorado Ocean Coalition (www.coloradoocean.org).

Founded by Vicki Nichols Goldstein, COCO engages and connects people living inland in local and national ocean conservation efforts. Their rapidly growing inland water movement is currently 2,200+ members strong with a very strong following of stand up paddle boarders and scuba divers. Colorado is home to the largest amount of certified scuba divers per capita.

Pouring Man Productions founder, Wade M. Norris is a long-time advocate and spokesperson for environmental refugees (islanders displaced from their home by sea level rise). He met Vicki and learned of her organization when she attended his first environmental and craft beer festival in August 2013 in Boulder, Colorado. He decided to make COCO the non profit beneficiary of their 2014 signature event, Green.Beer.Fest. (www.greenbeerfest.com)

The 2014 Green.Beer.Fest. was co-produced with Colorado based indie band KUNUNDRUM.
