Dr. Paul Drago: An Amazing Otolaryngologist

BARNWELL, S.C. - Dec. 10, 2014 - PRLog -- As a practicing physician for 25 years, Dr. Paul Drago is an expert otolaryngologist.  As an otolaryngologist, he is trained in the surgical and medical management, as well as treatment of patients with disorders and disease of the ear, nose, throat (ENT) and similar structures of the neck and head.
Dr. Paul Drago received his Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology at the University of Maryland with an honors GPA of 3.9.  During his undergraduate years, Paul Drago M.D. was in the Freshman Honor Society, Alpha Lambda Delta, in addition to the National Honor Society, Phi Kappa Phi.  In addition, through becoming a Provost Scholar, he made the Dean’s List every semester.  He also was a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society and was a recipient of the President’s Scholarship Award.  He also became a Pre-Medical Counselor, as well as a teaching assistant in Zoology.
Following that experience, he went on to graduate from Ohio State University College of Medicine.  Dr. Paul Drago then went on to finish his surgical residency at Yale University.  Afterwards, he completed a pediatric reconstructive fellowship in England.  Furthermore, he completed an adult reconstructive fellowship at Louisiana State University Medical Center, which is located in Shreveport, Louisiana.  Following that experience, Dr. Paul Drago became a Resident in Otolaryngology at University Hospitals of Cleveland, in Cleveland, Ohio.  Currently, he is an otolaryngologist and medical director with Barnwell County Hospital.
Dr. Paul Drago is also an avid fan of the arts, with a particular focus on theater and jazz.  He also enjoys staying very active enjoying activities such as golfing, racquetball, football, and basketball with his friends.  In his free time, Paul Drago M.D. enjoys staying fit through participating in triathlons.  He is proud of his published book, The Key Guide to Health and Wellness.  Dr. Paul Drago wrote it to educate individuals on how to maintain a balanced diet and immune system.  He also enjoys cooking different dishes and experimenting with various healthy recipes.  He believes cooking should be fun, tasty, and nutritious.
Dr. Paul Drago also enjoys helping out the local communities and charitable organizations.  In particular, he enjoys participating in Promise Keepers, volunteering with the American Cancer Society, as well as volunteering at soup kitchens.  He also had the opportunity the be the head coach for the St. Andrews fourth and fifth grade baseball team.  Paul Drago M.D. can best be described by his friends and family as very thoughtful, caring, and hard-working and has an insatiable appetite for helping to make a difference in the world.  He is most influenced by Jesus Christ.  He enjoys serving on the Stewards of Christ, through helping to teach valuable life skills to men, from 16 to 20 years of age.  He has also enjoyed assisting in a medical mission to help give much needed medical care for children in the Dominican Republic.  His plan is to continue visiting various underprivileged communities across the world to provide his medical help to those in need.
