Military Veterans Worldwide Offers New Marketplace for Veterans

By: Jinger Jarrett

SALISBURY, N.C. - Dec. 10, 2014 - PRLog -- Salisbury, NC, 12/10/2014 — U.S. Army veteran and internet marketer Jinger Jarrett launched her marketplace for her new social site Military Veterans Worldwide. The purpose of the new marketplace is to allow veterans from around the world to get together and socialize and also sell their goods and services within the veterans community.

Membership in the new site is free to all who want to socialize. For those who want to do business, there is a small flat monthly fee. This fee goes to support programs to help veterans as well as maintain the site. Jarrett's goal is to use the money she makes to develop programs that actually help her fellow veterans. These include grants for small business start ups and funds to help meet short term needs for veterans. Ultimately her goal is to create a self sustaining non profit foundation to help veterans.

"Some problems veterans have require money, and some don't." Jarrett said. "One of the most important things I want to do is to make the Healing Codes widely available to veterans for free to help them heal from Post Traumatic Stress. It is a healing modality I have used myself, and I've seen tremendous results. A major goal for me is meeting the needs of veterans at the individual level. Each veteran is different and needs a different plan to accomplish his/her goals."

Jarrett plans to roll out services as the funds become available. In the meantime, she works to raise awareness of veterans issues and connect with veterans to stay on top of what is happening in the veterans' community.

"There's a lot involved to working on veterans' issues. I'm only one person, and raising awareness isn't easy. Veterans are skeptical, and sometimes reaching out to them can actually have the opposite effect. Instead of helping, some have tried to discourage me, going so far as to try to destroy my business reputation and accusing me of trying to rip veterans off. I keep going. I know that we need new solutions to try and fix the problems in the veterans' community because what we're doing isn't working," she said.

All U.S. veterans and their allies are welcome to join including the British, South Africans, Australians and NATO. Membership is completely free to allow veterans to connect with one another. Those who do business on the site will have a secure marketplace where they pay the nominal monthly fee to do business. Any profits they make from doing business on the site belongs to them.

"Veterans across the globe have the same problems," Jarrett said. "We need to work together to help one another, and I wanted to create a place that is safe for veterans to connect, a place where all veterans are welcome, not just those who served in combat, combat arms or Special Forces. All veterans deserve to get the help and support they need."
