By: MET Restaurant Group From 9:00PM to 1:00AM, guests are invited to join the MET for a multi-course meal including special dishes like truffled rigatoni and cheeses with Burgundy truffles, goat and fontina, MET short rib wellington with foie gras, portabella mushrooms, shaved brisket, and bordelaise, and chocolate croissant bread pudding with raspberry gelato and warm whiskey sauce. The multi-course meal is available for $125 per person. Throughout the evening the MET Bar team will be pouring a selection of swing era-inspired cocktails including the Bee’s Knees, gin, lime juice honey syrup with a lemon twist-- top this with a splash of champagne, and you have a French 75 which was established in 1915 at Harry's New York Bar in Paris; the Mary Pickford, rum, pineapple, grenadine and maraschino liqueur; and Sidecars and Manhattans galore. Champagne will be flowing all night long, and all guests will receive a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. Get ready to dance the night away with a live performance featuring The Greg Hopkins Swing Six who will begin with jazz & move into swing, jive, American songbook standards and more. Hopkins has been playing for 35 years and has performed with some of the most notable musicians in history, including Dizzy Gillespie, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Stan Getz, Stevie Wonder, Tony Bennett, the Supremes, Burt Bacharach, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Marvin Gaye and Buddy Rich. In addition to being an accomplished performer, composer and arranger, Hopkins has been a Professor of Jazz Composition at Berklee College of Music since 1974. He has developed and teaches several courses in composition and also directs the Berklee Concert Jazz Orchestra, one of the most prestigious performing ensembles at the school.
