Mayco Center Food Drive To Support High Plains Food Bank and Provide Free Lunch

Dec. 8, 2014 - PRLog -- McCartt & Associates will be hosting a canned food drive Friday, December 12 from 11 am to 1 pm at Mayco Center at 3410 S. Western benefitting the High Plains Food Bank. Thumper’s Grill will be providing free burritos to everyone who donates a canned food item.

The businesses located at Mayco Center are pulling together to provide for the community during the holiday season and encourage their customers to bring peanut butter, canned soup, canned meats, canned fruits and hot cereal, which the food bank is in need of most.

“Many of these businesses have been in Mayco Center for several years, and they have a strong relationship with their customers,” said Joe Bob McCartt, President of McCartt & Associates. “The food drive is a way to say thank you to those customers and give back to the community that has supported them for so long.”

Mix 94.1 will be live at the event, and special discounts and prizes will be offered by the businesses on Friday. Mayco Center invites you to come enjoy a free burrito during lunch and to support the High Plains Food Bank during one of their busiest times of year.
