CAMPBELL, Calif. - Dec. 8, 2014 - PRLog -- Throughout the month of December, popular interactive social networking website Tio2Tio is contributing fundraising for the non-profit organisation WaterAid. Wateraid aims to improve access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene in the world’s poorest communities.

Tio2Tio's fundraising event will be hosted mainly via  TioPod's podcast, which aims to bring together people who share a passion for music and dance, alongside an online “universal stage” where visitors are encouraged to showcase, discuss, express, inspire and get inspired.

From the first week of December, TioPod's co-founder DJ GSP - renowned performer & producer George Spiliopoulos - will play and record a weekly radio podcast leading up to the Christmas holiday. During this time we will also be inviting a host of international DJs to contribute to each show. Joining GSP are: DJ Fabio Luigi (Uk ), DJ Noor Q (Jordan),  Dan Slater (Australia), Rafha Madrid (Spain) and DJ Anapaula (Brazil). They will share their talent through exclusive sets, which will no doubt entertain and surprise.

Everyone is invited to support the Wateraid appeal by downloading the podcasts and by also making a donation to WaterAid (wateraid.org/us), which has helped more than 21 million individuals in 26 nations to gain access to safe water since its founding in 1981; and since 2004, has assisted an additional 18.1 million to secure proper sanitation in their communities.

Tio2Tio - which provides a platform for young talent in the arts, including music, fashion, design and digital art - will additionally help educate its vast audience and the public about the valuable work of WaterAid by showcasing numerous articles and discussion forums on Tio2Tio.
