Heart of Financial Planning Awardee Kenneth Shapiro Receives Accolades from State CPA Organization

 
Dec. 8, 2014 - PRLog -- Upper Montclair, NJ (DECEMBER 2014) - A past Heart of Financial Planning Award winner with the Financial Planning Association of New Jersey (FPANJ) has recently garnered similar recognition by the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA). Kenneth B. Shapiro, CPA/PFS, CFP®, Was named one of six top financial planners in New Jersey and was spotlighted in the 2014 September/October edition of New Jersey CPA magazine.

Shapiro is a Certified Public Accountant who also is a Personal Financial Specialist and Certified Financial Planner with more than 30 years’ experience in the financial industry. In being named a Heart of Financial Planning Award recipient last year, he was recognized for providing exemplary service by his involvement in FPANJ’s activities and community events dedicated to financial literacy. In this same year Shapiro was named one of "50 Over 50" by NJSCPA, which honored accounting veterans for their ongoing contributions to the CPA profession.

Shapiro was also previously recognized in as the Community Volunteer of the Year by the NJSCPA for his investment of more than 100 hours of helping others.

“It was indeed an honor to be recognized by my peers in both the NJCPA’s First Honoree list and its previously issued “50 over 50” publication. These honors were unsolicited and unexpected,” Shapiro said.
