SANTA MONICA, Calif. - Dec. 8, 2014 - PRLog -- Ten Years Apart. Ten Years Together. You do the math. This Baby Boomer born in 1961 and this Generation X born in 1971 celebrated 10 Years together this summer of 2014 after meeting by chance in 2004. The Filmmaking Couple will be celebrating 10 years together this month starring on a new VH1 reality show which will be the couple's 20th reality TV show appearance between the two of them over the last decade. @Vanilla_Fire

Legendary @RealityTVCouple Steven C. Barber & Tamara Henry of Vanilla Fire will be breaking records (and we're not talking vinyl) appearing on their 20th Reality TV Show together after 10 Years of secretly living out their entire romantic life on serial reality TV shows (and we're not talking Wheaties!) Oscar Shortlisted filmmakers Barber and Henry have raised over $3 million dollars to document the heroic efforts of America's WWII veterans and disabled athletes. Both Steven and Tamara have military backgrounds and the couple also manage the number one double amputee in the world on his way to be the first American Paralympian in the Rio 2016 Main Games. Working tirelessly as a documentary filmmaking couple in their professional life, left no time for a personal life, leaving them to work out their romantic issues on reality TV show appearances since their first squabble on the legendary couples show Blind Date.

The new reality show "Bye Felicia" on VH1 will be starring the couple in a makeover show airing on Tuesday night January 6, 2015 at 9pm/8c.

Granola-glam hippie-chick Tamara Henry of Venice Beach reached out to the lighthearted makeover show saying she felt stuck and needed help. After spending a decade car-free... shopping at garage sales... living in the same beach bungalow for ten years... dating the same man for ten years... and holding the same job for ten years, Tamara needed a new leg on her journey toward self actualization. "I think I'm having another episode!" she exclaimed, at 43, with a can of Febreze in her hand. You may have seen her with her cute pets Jimmy Chew and Kozy Mel on recent episodes of "LA Shrinks" on Bravo or "Petfinder" on Animal Planet. She claimed to be still in need of help after a botched TV news anchor career boost from "The Drama Queen" on E! Entertainment and a drag queen makeover that didn't take on "RuPaul's Drag U" ex beauty queen episode on LOGO.

However, one area of her life did seem to be making waves. Living in the Tsunami zone of Venice Beach and getting on board with a former cruise ship director was one area keeping this local TV news anchor afloat. Tamara had turned Steven into a film director and the sweet passion of this caffeinated cinema couple has set the documentary world on fire.
"Move over Michael Moore!" says these Manic Movie Makers.

Vanilla Fire's films have landed on the Oscar Shortlist, made Top 10 in TIME magazine, and have been seen by millions on Discovery, History, Netflix and a myriad of digital platforms from iTunes to Hulu.

But are they movie makers? Or are they reality TV stars? "It's complicated," says Tamara, as she contemplates the super position theory of all possible outcomes of her parallel, holographic universe.

This infamous Reality TV Couple met on the legendary show Blind Date where Steven holds the Blind Date appearance record with four appearances and his legendary episode "Cocktails" made "Dates From Hell" an episode that is referred as the highest rated show that was ever aired for the series.

These two entrepreneurs are currently in post production for their fifth feature documentary called "Return to the Philippines," the continued saga of 95-year-old WWII Veteran Leon Cooper of Malibu, narrated by the legendary actor, Ed Harris. "Is this the Truman Show!?" Henry calls Cooper her own little Zamperini. This historic documentary will have a Memorial Day Premiere and will be featured on Netflix in 2015. The prequel aired on Discovery's Military Channel for four years and Until They Are Home (2012 Oscar Shortlist) was narrated by Kelsey Grammer. Barber was able to secure the last one-on-one interview with Louis Zamperini, famed Olympian and WWII Veteran immortalized by the Angelina Jolie film, Unbroken.

Filmmaking Couple Vanilla Fire is preparing to pitch their own reality docuseries titled "The Doc Side" to showcase the on going behind-the-scene tales of the documentary side of the filmmaking world, as their very first film was "touched by an angel" when they were given their first capital for a rough cut by Mark Burnett for their film Unbeaten, starring J.P. Dejoria, narrated by Dan Aykroyd and funded by Ten Billionaires after a run of pitch meetings for Steven's first reality show concept "Rejection: Chasing Billionaires."

The Doc Side will chronicle Vanilla Fire's most compelling journeys in documentary filmmaking from the Road To Rio starring the American Bladerunner... to The Balloon Boy Story about the biggest hoax in American history and the wacky adventures of the Heene family... to The Louis Zamperini Story about the last words of an American hero. With Tamara's degree in spiritual psychology and Steven's shark tank tactics this duo will reveal the shadow side of everything from red carpets to award shows to TV talk shows to olympics events to professional sports arenas and to military events like the 11/11/11 televised basketball game with Obama and the First Lady celebrating of the death of Osama Bin Laden aboard the aircraft carrier that dumped the nation's most dangerous terrorist's body... Vanilla Fire takes you behind the scenes on The Doc Side.
