IntegraCare purchases Candle Light Cove senior living community

EASTON, Md. - Dec. 5, 2014 - PRLog -- Pittsburgh-based IntegraCare purchased the Candle Light Cove senior living community in Easton, Md., and announced both expansion and renovation plans for the assisted living and Alzheimer’s care facility.

    “The staff of Candle Light Cove has provided great care and commitment to the Easton community for many years,” said IntegraCare co-founder and CEO Rick Irwin. “IntegraCare will continue this exceptional care while also introducing some new, dynamic services.     IntegraCare also operates 12 senior living communities located throughout Pennsylvania and Maryland, including The Residence on Greenbelt in Lanham, Md.

    Candle Light Cove currently consists of 32 units in two 16-unit buildings – one for assisted living and one for memory care. Irwin said IntegraCare plans to construct an additional building, which would double the community’s size, as well as renovate the current facility. Candle Light Cove is located adjacent to Easton Hospital, which is part of the University of Maryland Health System.

    Irwin said the expansion will eventually lead to additional management positions.
