Sustainable Seafood for Secondary school

Local Chef Pete Hilcke from 'The Australian seafood show" has taken sustainable seafood into the secondary school system at Hume Secondary College, Bundoora campus to a class of year 8 students.
 
SOUTH MELBOURNE, Australia - Dec. 5, 2014 - PRLog -- Pete Hilcke from 'The Australian Seafood show" was honoured to be asked to cook and demostarte Sustainable seafood for Hume Secondary College, Bundoora Campus year 8a Students.

This was a class where the children got to laugh, learn and taste some of the best sustainable seafood Victoria and Australia has to offer.

A class where not only have they got a professional chef, they have got a chef who believes that the schooling system should include sustainable seafood as part of a 6 week curriculum for Home ecconomics.

Pete said" This should be part of there life in school as sustainablilty is now becoming an issue and this is where I can help"

Pete currently takes classes on sustainable seafood and believes the first step into the schooling system will be a benefical one. Students and teachers alike will benefit from a program like this and it will help educate the students to make better choices.

Currently Pete whilst filming is running dinner parties and taking classes as part of his passionate world of sustaianble seafood.
