Rusty's Raw Bar & Grill Sponsors "Be a Santa to a Senior"

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Dec. 4, 2014 - PRLog -- Rusty’s Raw Bar & Grill in Fort Myers will be partnering with Home Instead Senior Care this holiday season to help collect gifts for seniors in Lee, Collier, and Charlotte counties. Participation for the cause will continue through Dec. 17.

The Be a Santa To a Senior (BASTAS) program works with local residents and businesses to collect and donate gifts for seniors who are lonely or financially struggling. A tree will be set up at each Rusty’s Raw Bar & Grill location with ornaments attached for customers to take home. Each ornament will list the first name of a senior in need, along with their gift request.  The participant may then purchase the gift and return it back to the same location unwrapped and with the ornament attached.  Home Instead Senior Care coordinates volunteers to help wrap all of the gifts received.

The BASTAS tree is currently set up at Rusy’s Fort Myers and is ready for customers to select a deserving senior for the holidays.  Deliveries of the gifts will begin Dec. 17 and will be completed by Dec. 25.
