Government Minster visits Field International

POOLE, U.K. - Dec. 4, 2014 - PRLog -- Field International Ltd, a Poole based company specialising in advanced engineering in the aerospace sector welcomed Lord Livingston, Minister of State for Trade and Investment,to its premises on the Nuffield Industrial Estate.

Field International’s Managing Director, Richard Marples, commented, “It was a great pleasure to welcome the Minister to our offices and to conduct him on a tour of the factory where he met many members of the workforce.  He showed a keen interest in our business and in particular our modern manufacturing facility in China.”

Lord Livingston was CEO of BT Group from 2008 until 2013when he became a Minister of State and has wide experience of international business.

Richard Marples added “The Minister was familiar with the issues that small business faces at home and overseas and was keen to help Field International. We look forward to utilising some of the governments improved export finance initiatives that were discussed when the Minister met the directors in the boardroom.”
