2015: The year of modular & offsite construction?

In the film, “Back to the Future” (1985), 2015 was a futuristic year with hover boards, rejuvenation centres and power shoelaces. Could 2015 also be the year modular construction goes back to the future?

Dec. 4, 2014 - PRLog -- Back in 1985 there were similar myths about modular construction as there are today. With misconceptions about cost, repetitive design and high volume production across the construction industry more needs to be done to educate those looking to use modular and offsite. This is where we can help!

2015 sees the launch of the European edition of our hugely successful Commercial Modular and Offsite Construction Summit. Architects, site owners, contractors, developers and other leading construction professionals from across Europe will be meeting to discuss how the construction industry can become more efficient and productive through alternative methods of construction.

Rotterdam will be the only place to hear exclusive industry case studies from leading names, including; John Dyson from GSK, Dries Hagen from Circle Partnership, Jamie Johnston from Bryden Wood Limited and Rory Bergin from HTA Architects and many more.

The Commercial Modular and Offsite Construction Summit will take place in February, 16th to 18th, 2015 in Rotterdam.  Find the program, event details and registration information about the forum on www.modularconstructionsummiteu.com/news (http://www.modularconstructionsummiteu.com/news%20) phone +44 (0) 207 036 1300 or email enquire@iqpc.co.uk
