Camira Wools from UK available in USA at Accurato.com Furniture Store

SAN DIEGO - Dec. 3, 2014 - PRLog -- Accurato.com Furniture Store is pleased to announce the USA introduction of several new seating products upholstered in the Camira Wool Fabric line from the UK.  “Camira Fabrics believes sustainability and the production of sustainable products to be a hardline corporate social responsibility.  For this reason, we believe these commercial and residential seating lines will be well accepted in the USA”, explains Lena Johnson, President of Accurato.com Furniture Store.  “Many of the Camira wool fabrics contribute to LEED credits for sustainable architecture projects enabling architects, designers and specifiers to reach higher environmental standards.”  Camira has a number of sustainably produced wool fabrics that contribute to LEED credits including MRc4 Recycled Content and MRc6 Rapidly Renewable Materials.

The Camira Blazer fabric of lambs wool comes directly from New Zealand and can be traced back to individual farms that meet the high standard of sustainable farming and ranching.  Camira also contributes funds to protect Hector’s dolphins by donating a portion of profits from their sales of the popular wool Blazer fabric to the New Zealand Whale and Dolphin Trust.  Camira Wool Fabric Installations include:  London Gatwick Airport, University of Manchester Library, BBC, Manchester, UK, Manchester Airport Terminal 3, The Lodge Switzerland, London Underground.

Seating products from Accurato.com Furniture Store that will be upholstered in the UK manufactured Camira Wools include the Slender Chair, Daisy Chair, Rego Chair, Flu Lounge Chair, Pera Chairs and Pera Barstools.  Dining chair and lounge chair frames upholstered in Camira wools will be manufactured by B&T Design of Turkey and then imported to the USA for distribution.

Camira also promotes sustainability with intensive programs in higher education organizations through visiting lectures, careers fairs, site visits, skill modules and seminars.  In addition, Camira Fabrics collaborates with Leeds University to support the skills development of graduates in the School of Earth and Environment Employability program.

Camira currently has a number of wool fabrics that meet the EU Ecolabel standards, an independent environmental label administered by the European Union which accredits the environmental sensitivity of products throughout their lifecycle, from the extraction of raw materials through to production, use and disposal.
