Canine Problem Solving 101 Workshop

Southern Canine Professionals will be holding a workshop B Problem Solving 101 B Understanding and correcting your dog=s undesirable behaviors. This workshop will be held on December 14, 2014 from 12:00PM B 4:00PM for pet owners, those wanting to learn about canine behavior and wish to start a career in obedience training, rescue workers who need in depth training on how to stop behavior issues. This event, to be held at Caldwell Mill Animal Clinic, 5196 Caldwell Mill Rd, Birmingham, AL  35244, will teach its participants how to resolve behavior issues with their pets. It will address all issues brought to the workshop, and map out a plan of action during the workshop. During the event, participants will learn the foundations of canines, how they think and process information, how to handle their pets (husbandry skills), as well as mistakes we make as humans, that could hinder the relationship with their dog.

Interactive/working participants, along with their dog, will learn hands on training techniques specifically for their dog=s issues. Spectator participants will gain knowledge on canine behavior and how to stop issues before they get too far out of hand. A discounted rate has been put in place for any rescue workers who would like to attend with a dog and participate as an Interactive/working guest or as a spectator.
