Kathy Thomtom-Bias, President of Bang & Olufsen America joins Designing Spaces to take viewers on a tour of the new Bang & Olusfen showroom on Madison Avenue on December 4^th show

(POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – PR LOG – December 3, 2014) Award-winning homeimprovement show Designing Spaces™ will feature well-known luxury consumer products brand Bang & Olufsen on Thursday, December 3, 2014 at 7:30 am (ET/PT) on Lifetime as part of the “Holiday Spaces” programming line-up. This show will re-air on Thursday, December 18 at 7:30 am (ET/PT) on Lifetime.

Designing Spaces heads to New York City to team up with Kathy Thomtom-Bias, President of Bang & Olufsen America to take viewers on a tour of the new Bang & Olusfen showroom on Madison Avenue and to show them how to “Tech Up their Space”.

Founded in 1925, Bang & Olufsen is the world's oldest luxury consumer electronics brand and produces state-of-the-art products with home integration of home entertainment systems. The company strives to create solutions that simplify and enhance the modern home.

Thomton-Bias will give viewers an insight in to the company's rich history, highlighting some of their “firsts” - such as the “radio heart” in 1938, which allowed customers to have preset radio stations, the first fully transistorized radio in 1964, and the first universal remote in 1984.

The tour culminates in a look at the latest technological consumer products advancement for the ultimate in home entertainment; the BeoVison Avant TV and the BeoLab wireless speakers. It’s all about “domesticating technology” to enhance one's living spaces.
