ATLOGGER: the smart lightning counter has now also got ATEX certification

PATERNA, Spain - Dec. 3, 2014 - PRLog -- The lightning counter has proven its validity and safety for installation in areas with risk of explosion.

ATLOGGER is an advance counter that indicates not only the number of strikes to the lightning protection installation, but also the time and date of the event and which was the peak current and polarity of the lightning strike. These devices are installed besides the down-conductor, in contact with it, and they are provided with overvoltage and overcurrent protections assuring its work after the pass of the lightning current.

Now, besides, ATLOGGER has obtained the ATEX certificate for installation in areas with flammable gases or vapours (ATEX II3G T4), proving not to have any effect involving a risk of explosion or fire in these areas.
