Follow on Google News | Spruce Foundation Opens 2015 Grant Application CycleApplications Now Being Accepted for Organizations Serving Philadelphia’s Youth
The Spruce Foundation (“Spruce”) selects grantees through a rigorous application process that examines Philadelphia- For the 2015 granting cycle, one grant of $5,000 will be made in each of Spruce’s four program areas for a total of $20,000. Spruce will provide programmatic support to organizations with organizational budgets of more than $300,000 and will provide general operating support to organizations with organizational budgets less than or equal to $300,000.Key application details include: · Applicants must have 501(c)(3) status or apply through a fiscal sponsor. · Application · The organization or program applying for funding must be conducted exclusively in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania. Spruce favors agencies that offer volunteer opportunities for Spruce’s network of civically and philanthropically engaged millennials. The grantmaking committee also gives priority to newer agencies with innovative strategies for addressing pressing needs within the Greater Philadelphia Area.
