Bryant/Baxter 3-on-3 Inaugural Charity Basketball Tournament to Benefit St. Petersburg Foster Care

SAINT PETERSBURG, Fla. - Dec. 1, 2014 - PRLog -- Jason Bryant and Jimmy Baxter, along with All Heart TC, are presenting a 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament in December, proceeds of which will benefit Eckerd Community Alternatives and children in foster care in the St. Petersburg community. The family and community-oriented tournament, produced by New Era Thinking Group, LLC, will include 20 teams competing for a grand prize of $1,000 and will take place at the Wildwood Recreation Center.

Bryant and Baxter, known as JBx2, are St. Petersburg natives who played basketball together at Boca Ciega High School around the year 2000. Jason Bryant, PMP, is now a successful consultant and life coach. Jimmy Baxter plays professional basketball overseas and is the founder of All Heart TC, a track and field club dedicated to developing great scholar athletes. Both wanted to give back to their community in a way that advances the teamwork and positive energy of their favorite sport, while simultaneously supporting their community’s most vulnerable children.

WHAT:          JBx2 and All Heart TC present the 1st annual Bryant/Baxter 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament to benefit Eckerd Community Alternatives and foster children in St. Petersburg.

WHEN:          December 26, 2014 from 10am to 1pm and December 27, 2014 from 9am to 12pm (playoffs and championship)

WHERE:          Wildwood Recreation Center 1000 28th Street South St. Petersburg, FL 33712

WHO:          Nearly 100 players from Tampa, Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Sarasota and surrounding areas will participate in the tournament. Over 300 spectators are expected to attend.
