Moss Foundation golf tournament raises $50,000 for HANDY, Shake-a-Leg

Inaugural event raises $25,000 each for Broward, Miami-Dade organizations

DAVIE, Fla. - Dec. 1, 2014 - PRLog -- The Moss Foundation, Inc. held its inaugural charitable golf event on Monday, Nov. 17, at Grande Oaks Golf Club in Davie, benefiting HANDY, Inc., in Broward, and Shake-A-Leg Miami.

The tournament, which attracted 132 golfers, raised $25,000 each for Shake-A-Leg and HANDY.

“This is the first of many great things the foundation will do to build better lives for people in the communities we serve,” said Chad Moss, director of the Moss Foundation. “We are humbled by the outpouring of support for this endeavor and look forward to making positive contributions wherever we can.”

The event’s Title partner was Lotspeich Co. of Florida. Name partners were Power Design Inc. and ThyssenKrupp Elevators America, in addition to more than 40 additional event partners.

The winning foursome, representing MCC Mechanical, included Brian Mirus, Andrew McAllister, Garrett Green, and John Boniface.
